Post by Cor'e =) ยป 2 minutes ago I cannot play this game for two reasons, one it won't run in a window (only fullscreen??), and two, it always remaps my gamepad to garbage, anyone know how to run LQ in a Win7 window and/or stop it from mapping a gamepad (make it use keyboard only)?

Comments: Oh, Thanks for all of these! Venture, how many memories! You are Holy!
You know what you should do again? The games of Ultimate: Entombed, Karnath, Blackwyche.
Can I donate something? A pizza or other?

Comments: WOW! I really love your games! They are obviously well coded they play fantastically! I especially love the classic remakes of Mousetrap and Venture. Exactly what a remake should be. The same great game as the original but with a few "enhancements" Well done!
A couple questions if I may. I plan on adding these both to a scratch built arcade cabinet. Mousetrap offers the ability to add you name to the high-score table by the scrolling characters at the bottom of the screen. Would it be hard to add this feature to Venture? I will not have a keyboard attached to the arcade cabinet so the ability to put your name in with a joystick ans a couple buttons would be awesome.
Second question: Do you ever plan on "re-making" any other Exidy games? Namely, Pepper II or Spectar (please please)!
Anyways, thanks for these GREAT games. My kids and I are having a lot of fun with them!
Admin reply: wow, thanks!, glad to hear you like the games
btw, link to latest game versions: http://www.jrxs.net/games/ (you will be transferred to yoyogames website where games are hosted)
this also features the latest version of venture, which also has moving letters for the highscore!, thus making it compatible with systems with no keyboard! It works with a gamepad too!
i'm working on another retro game (tutankham), and i'm sorry to say i'm not planning to do pepper II (although it's a great game! got that on my colecovision...)
Comments: Hey ! Awesome games ! Specially Laos Quest, i was looking for sooo long for good playable Rick 'remake'. Ever thought about uploading it to gamejolt ? That community needs to learn what hardcore platformer means ( besides SMB )
cheers
Admin reply: good idea will do

Comments: Lao's Quest made me go back to the late 80's! Excellent! I started playing and just couldn't stop. Very clever and challenging level design, even better than Rick Dangerous i would say, because here you really have to do some thinking!!
SlideX is cool too, and insanely hard!! Compared to this, the last rooms of Lao's Quest feel like a piece of cake! But it's nice to try a slide puzzle once in a while...
Thanks to the passionate creator! I'm waiting for Lao's Quest II now!
Frank
Admin reply: Hey Frank, cool you like it!!! consider yourself the first person to ever finish LQ!
haha, not sure about LQ II if i have some progress, i'll let you know at the moment, i'm stuck with pyramid magic....
